Chubby and the Caliber

So we thought you should all see Chubby Hugs with her new haircut--the "lion look." She had so many knots and matts in her fur, we had to do it. But she looks pretty cute.

Then there's the new car. We weren't planning to get another car, but Dave really wanted a winter driver and we thought we'd look at Spitzer--one of the local dealers who is going out of business due to all the mess with bailouts and government take-overs.... Well, you know. Anyway, we got a good deal on this Caliber SRT (Dave tells me it has 285 HP). It's got a six-speed transmission. I didn't know cars had that many gears!

This came in last evening from Micah and Holly. I can't wait to get a few pics!

Hello everyone, we are doing just fine. Right now we are in Madison, WI on saturday night. We had our first day at the Power Tour. It was alot of fun. There were almost 4000 cars there!! So tomorrow we are off to Racine, WI. The Galaxie is doing well. We had a few little bugs to work out on her, but she's better now. Moving right along. We are trying to send everybody pictures and they will be coming later. Hope everyone is fine and doing well. We will update you when we get a chance. Micah and Holly on the 2009 Hot Rod Power Tour

Micah and Holly are getting ready to join the 2009 Hot Rod Power Tour. They're taking the Old 7-Litre! The car has been in the Grambsch family for--well since it was a new car in 1966! They're loading up the trunk with spare parts, polishing the chrome, and preparing for the long trek: Dayton to Madison, Wisconsin, and then to Dayton again and finally to Bristol, Tennessee. The tour starts June 6th (they're driving to Madison on the 5th) and will be making lots of stops for shows and rallies along the way. They'll be back to Dayton on JUne 10th.
